Kelly Clarkson, an American actor, singer and songwriter who took home the American Idol competition in its first season, became America's Sweetheart. She was not only launched into the spotlight by her victory, but she also signed a record deal for multiple albums through RCA Records 19 Recordings & 'S Records. She has since released numerous studio albums. Three of them reached the US Billboard 200 chart, and others were just a little off. She's one of the biggest artists that have sprung from The American Idol series. When she was successful, she experimented with different genres and themes, frequently writing her own songs to her own personal experiences. As a tribute to her talent and distinctiveness, she's received a lot of praise and awards. She was awarded an award called the Grammy Award 3 times.
