Harry Edward Styles, known in the world of music as Harry Styles, is a British singer and composer, recognized as being a part of the band One Direction. His parents include Des Styles and Anne Cox. The couple were born on the 1st of February, 1994, in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Harry Styles, a former student of Holmes Chapel Comprehensive Schools Holmes Chapel Comprehensive schools formed a group called White Eskimo together with three of his fellow students. They won the Battle of Bands in 2009, thanks to their outstanding performances. He was always interested in music. However, he wanted to become a lawyer or physical therapy. As a worker at the city's baker Harry Styles managed to feed his family. Harry Styles, in 2010 was a contestant on The X Factor. His single Is not She Lovely was and was performed by Stevie Wonder. This meant that the group he was in had to be split. Nicole Scherzinger, the jury participant of The X Factor suggested Harry Styles be part of a group called One Direction with Liam Payne Zayn Mlik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. The formation of the group was a fact in 2010. The five young people were sponsored by Simon Cowell. The band performed songs such as My Life Would Suffer Without You from Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. They were one of the contenders for the award. The group was however placed third behind Rebecca Ferguson, and the winner Matt Cardle. However, Harry Styles and his group did not win Cowell signed a deal worth 2 million pounds for One Direction to sign with Syco. Syco Record label.
