Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was raised by a mixed ethnic family. Her father is a Nigerian-Swiss, as is her mom who's English. She was born in the south London Council Estate and was a student at The Brit School aged 14. She attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London which she graduated with an acting BA. While attending the school and performing in numerous stage productions including the King Henry V as Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe started her career as an actress in the movie Storm Damage. In the years since, she's made guest appearances for Teachers, Doctors, Casualty as well as Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe scored her first motion picture in the 2007 Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream, opposite Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor. Following that success, she played Elisha in the one-off BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN, and appeared in the six episodes of Trexx as well as Flipside in the role of Ollie. Also, the ITV2 series Secret Diary of a Call Girl featured her in the year 2008 as Bambi. Madekwe also appeared on the comedy How to Lose Friends and alienate others (2008). Her credits in the theatre include Little Sweet Thing (by Roy Williams) as well as Flight Path (by David Watson).
Madekwe made her debut in the US with The Beautiful Life. The drama show was telecast at The CW for only two episodes, but it was ended. Ashley Davenport, a character from ABC's Revenge drama, was chosen to play Ashley Davenport. In May of 2013, it was revealed that Madekwe, who had been a series regular in the previous two seasons was to leave the series after a guest-appearance in the first episode of the season's new episode. Between 2014 and 2016, she starred in Salem as Tituba. Madekwe, along with her boyfriend who has been with her for a long time, Iddo Goldenberg, were married in June 2012. Together, they worked on Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Goldberg also appeared alongside Madekwe on Salem.

Ashley Leggat is a Gemini-nominated actress who was raised in an extended family. Her parents were Roy and Patty Leggat. Her parents Roy and Patty and her four brothers, Brett, Todd, and Bram, were all present. Ashley's four brothers, all very active, took part in hockey during the winters and baseball in the summer months, which means that she grew up playing in parks and arenas. Ashley did not walk, but she did dance, so when she was two and a half she started Baby Ballet -and she fell in love with. This was the beginning of Ashley's passion for dance. Ashley participated in the top divisions in jazz, tap hip hop, ballet lyrical musical theatre, acrobatics as well as pointe until the time she completed high school. She won the top soloist at each of the main dance contests, including, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 5-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance just to mention a few.
