Lisa Edelstein (born Lisa Edelstein) is an American actor best known for playing House in the Fox medical drama House. She grew up in Wayne where she was a part of a traditional Jewish tradition. When she was 18, she emigrated in New York City to study at the Tisch School for the Arts.
