Alissa White-Gluz

Alissa White-Gluz is the former lead vocalist of the metalcore band The Agonist, and the present lead singer for the Swedish melodic death metal band Arch Enemy. Alissa White-Gluz (born July 31 1986) is an Canadian singer and songwriter, who is most famous as the vocalist in charge of the Swedish melodic death metal group Arch Enemy, and former lead vocalist and founding member of the Canadian metalcore band the Agonist. She sings clear and growled voice. Although she's most commonly linked to melodic metalcore and metalcore, she's also performed as a singer in power metal, deathcore as well as symphonic and symphonic groups. This includes Kamelot as well as Delain. White-Gluz was a member of the Agonist, formerly known as "Tempest" which was located in Montreal (Quebec), Canada in 2004 until 2014. White Gluz released three albums while being the singer-lead for The Agonist. They parted ways in the spring of 2014, when she accepted the offer to become the singer of Arch Enemy.
