
Julie Ellen "Tawny", Kitaen, was an American actress, model and media celebrity. She lived from May 7, 1961, until May 7 2021. Her acting career in television started with Malibu (1983) and California Girls (1985). She was also in comedy films The Perils of Gwendoline and Bachelor Party (both 1984), as well as the horror film Witchboard (1986). Kitaen was a popular choice for her performances in a number of heavy metal music videos. Some of them include Ratt's "Back for More" (1984) and Whitesnake's "Still of the Night", "Is This Love" and "Here I Go Again" (all 1987).In the 2000s, Kitaen transitioned into appearing in reality-TV shows which included The Surreal Life (2006) and Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew (2008) which, the latter of which focused on Kitaen's struggles with addiction. Julie Kitaen was born in San Diego, California, in the year 1961. She is the third oldest of three children born to Linda Kitaen (nee Taylor) who was a housewife and a beauty contestant once and Terry Kitaen. Kitaen works as a neon sign maker. Kitaen was the daughter of a Russian-Jewish father and a Scottish mother. Kitaen was raised Jewish. When she was at the age of 12 years old, she began to use the nickname "Tawny", which she created on her own initiative.
